J-Dub’s Burfday

Today my sweet husband turns 38 years old.

Remember when you were a little kid and made homemade cards?  I’m still doing that.  Especially after I’ve already gotten home from town and forgotten the dang thing.

He’s not home yet, because he’s still working.

That’s what he does.

Works his butt off.  The word lazy is not in his vocabulary.  Unless he’s talking to me.  Nah, I’m only kidding.  He may think it, but he doesn’t say it.  He knows when its best to hold the tongue.

He has so many wonderful qualities.

He’s a good drummer.

He’s a great cook.

A patient uncle.

Whose not afraid to get a little dirty.

A handsome devil.

A loving husband.

And my best friend.

Happy birthday, Jason!

  1. Happy bday to Jason! Hope ya’ll have a wonderful evening. I just started to read your blogs and I must say that I enjoy reading them. I loved the one about the golf course in Reidoso. I lol’d! =) Have a great evening!

  2. Happy birthday, J-Dub! Wishing you (and Angel) all the best! Thanks for letting her share your little “corner” of the world with the rest of us ‘nosy neighbors’ who peek over the fence every day! You are two very special people who deserve much happiness for a lifetime! Loved her birthday card to you .. better than any old storebought one, right?

  3. So very sweet, Angel. The card you made was wonderful! Hallmark or American Greetings could not have done nearly as good a job on a card like you did. Excellent pictures, too.
A wonderful tribute to your other half. 🙂

  4. ♪♪♪ Happy Birthday to J-Dub ♪♪♪ I am sure he is all you say he is, and I am positive he is a handsome devil (proof is in the pudding, er, picture). My friend’s husband ALWAYS makes her homemade cards. They are just so cool.
